The Exodus

After such a memorable, warm, tug-at-your-heart, nostalgic, happy, nakakalump-in-the-throat kind of weekend in Baguio last July for all seventeen of us, the exodus and restlessness of the third generation has finally begun!! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of goodbyes, best wishes, reunions, skype-ing, YM-ing, photograph posting, emailing, and now.. the dust has finally settled and our two boys are ready to start their first day of college life tomorrow --- Jomie's eldest Jose in Bentley College in Boston Massachusetts and Titoy's Carlo in Wesleyan College in Middletown Connecticut. They are both happily settled in their respective dorms, thousands and thousands of miles away from all of us -- see the smiles on both faces! :)
