….And Luis spotted an article that read: “One Big, Happy Family.” Softly he said, “Well – that’s one thing we’re not!” The color drained from my face as I felt a sense of failure creep in. I had visions of going into counseling with him, and redesigning my life and my career to address this situation. I hugged him and whispered, “My darling, what made you say that?” “Mom!” he gleefully replied, “I meant – we’re one SMALL happy family!!” I have no roses. But I have garlands of sweetness.

Code Red

What else could one expect? In keeping with tradition, our office family of simple joys

(and simple minds) donned RED on Valentine's and had a blast posing for this very cheesy theme, complete with toy bears, baduy hearts and long stemmed roses. That's Sunday perched on top of the ladder, and from left to right - Princess, May, Eliza and moi. Not content with that, we e-mail blasted the entire Midland Buendia Bldg attaching our group pics and wishing our co-workaholics and "stress mates" a heart-y, heart-ful, happy Valentine's!!
