t was also Sunday's birthday and we gave him a scandalously hilarious giant birthday card with his face superimposed on 3 sexy bodies of Miss Universe title holders....On the other half of the card we made a collage of all our memorable group photos (like the ones from those crazy shoots we hold in the office when we pretend to be models)

The day didn't end when we got back to Manila though...I made a quick 'costume change' a-la-Superman but without the phone booth, and headed to yet another party at the Loft in Rockwell Manansala Suites... People Asia's cocktails in order of Joanne R. who they were welcoming back as editor in chief. I enjoyed it, suprisingly, despite my exhaustion from the day's activities. I dunno.. of course it was all those old familiar faces again, the usual air kissing, smiling, great-to-see-you and all...but somehow this time I was in such a relaxed and happy mood, and was actually happy to see all of them, and meant every inch of my cocktail-party smile, haha.... Could be the margarita. or the lychee canape with goat cheese. or the chocolate eclairs. Well, Joanne R. is really such a nice lady to begin with and am glad she's back there. Anyway, after People Asia, I was supposed to go next door to the Rockwell Tent to attend the Cosmo Mag's "Bachelor Bash"..but changed my mind at the last minute because I realized I couldn't walk straight, not because I was tipsy or anything, but because my feet were killing me. So goodnight bachelors - another time. :)
